E. Penelope Phelan started her training at age 4 at the Greenwich Ballet Academy. She then trained with Ellison Ballet PTP from 2020 through 2023. Penelope competed in many competitions - ADC IBC, Connecticut Classic, Universal Ballet Competition and Youth America Grand Prix. She has attended several summer intensives - Bolshoi Ballet Academy, Greenwich Ballet Academy, New York Dance Project, Ellison Ballet, Boys Ballet Summer Intensive, Royal Ballet School and the Complexions Ballet trainee program. Penelope volunteered as a teacher’s assistant for an adaptive dance program for children with Down’s Syndrome. She is the winner of the YAGP 25th Anniversary Photo Challenge. She also modeled for Rachel Neville Studios photography workshop and online course. Penelope is currently a student of the ABT JKO Pre-Professional Division.
