Afina is a native of Southern California. Afina has been at Southland Ballet Academy since the age of 4 and is currently in the Pre-Professional Training program under the guidance of Ms. Salwa Rizkalla. She has performed various roles in The Festival Ballet’s productions of Don Quixote, Swan Lake, Coppelia and the yearly production of The Nutcracker, performing as Clara in 2024.

Afina has competed in the Youth America Grand Prix since 2020. She has won many awards and received scholarships from well renowned Ballet schools around the world including: The Royal Ballet School, John Cranko Schule, Bolshoi Ballet Academy, Princess Grace Academy in Monaco, European School of Ballet, Dutch National Ballet Academy, Academia Teatro Alla Scala and American Ballet Theatre.

Afina is honored and excited to be part of the Nikolay Ambassador program. She hopes to become a Professional Ballet Dancer and share her love of dance with the world.
