Shelby Guetzkow began dancing at the age of 3 and her favorite styles are classical and modern dance. Currently, she attends Orange County School of the Arts in the Ballet and Contemporary Dance conservatory. Shelby is a member of the pre-professional company at Los Alamitos Ballet Theatre. She loves working with The Dance Shoppe and is honored to represent their store as a Nikolay Influencer. Shelby competed in many competitions such as Youth America Grand Prix, Universal Ballet Competition, and Kids Artistic Revue where she has been awarded top overall soloist, KAR Miss Teen Dance finalist, and KAR Pro:tégé. She has attended several summer intensives with prestigious companies such as the John Cranko Schule, Ballet West, Joffrey Red, and American Ballet Theatre. Shelby is a straight A student and a member of the National Honor Society for Dance Arts at her school.
Outside of dance and school, Shelby enjoys sitting on the beach with a good book and a matcha latte.
