Biography:
Viktoria Papakalodouka is 16 years old and she is from Athens, Greece. Viktoria first had a ballet class when she was 5 years old. She immediately fell in love with it and later when she turned 9, her family and she moved to New York, USA for it.
Competitions:
Since Viktoria has moved to the United States:
- She attended her very first ballet competition: ADC IBC St. Petersburg Finals in which she won the Junior Grand Prix Award in 2023.
- In January 2024, Viktoria participated in the YAGP Tampa semi-finals in which she received 1st place in classical.
- In January 2024, Viktoria was selected and competed in Prix De Lausanne Competition in Lausanne, Switzerland, where only 44 girls around the world were selected to participate.
- In April 2024, Viktoria participated in the YAGP 25th Anniversary Finals in which she won the Natalia Makarova for Artistry, as well as placing Top 12 in the Senior Category.
Galas and other events:
- In October 2023 Viktoria was invited and participated in the YGP Mexico Stars of Today meet the Stars of Tomorrow gala in Cordoba, Mexico.
- Also in October 2023, she was invited and performed an excerpt of Swan Lake in the Yoshiki 10th Classical World Tour with the orchestra REQUIEM in Carnegie Hall in New York, NY.
- In January 2024, Viktoria was invited and performed in the YAGP Stars of Today Meet the Stars of Tomorrow Gala where she performed the Gamzatti variation from La Bayadere.
- In March 2024 she was invited and performed in the ADC IBC Finals Gala in St. Petersburg, Florida where she performed the Gamzatti variation.
Viktoria is so thankful for all the opportunities and support she has had. She is grateful for all her training that is letting her grow and reach her goal of becoming a professional dancer in a ballet company.
