Melanie McIntire is currently 17 years old and was born and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona. Training under the direction of Slawomir Wozniak at Master Ballet Academy for 11 years, she is now a part of the Phoenix Ballet company.

She has performed many featured roles in “The Nutcracker”, including Clara and the Sugar Plum Fairy, as well as excerpts from many other ballets. December of 2023, Melanie was a guest artist as the Sugar Plum Fairy for the Twin City Ballet Nutcracker in Monroe, Louisiana. She was selected for and competed as 1 of the 44 female candidates in the 2024 Prix de Lausanne. Melanie also competed and was a Semi-Finalist in the juniors category for the 2023 USA International Ballet Competition is Jackson, Mississippi. She placed 1st classical, and 2nd contemporary at YAGP 2024, and will attend Finals ’24 in addition to the years ’23, ’22, ’19.
