“Kealani Arata started ballet dancing at age three to help with her figure skating and fell in love with the dance form. She began training at The San Francisco Ballet School with Miss Damara Bennett, who instilled an appreciation of the Vaganova method. Kealani progressed her training at The Kirov Academy under Director Runqiao Du and continues to train with him in his retirement.
Kealani’s accomplishments include performing with The San Francisco Ballet in multiple Nutcracker productions and featured in Jordan Matter’s book Born to Dance.
In addition to her busy dance schedule, Kealani fosters kittens and sends care packages to orphans in Columbia.”
