We are delighted to introduce Chiara Valle, one of our two Nikolay Market Influencers!
Chiara began dancing at the age of 8, and she admits she was drawn to it simply based on what you got to wear. Her passion for ballet quickly grew into something much more, and she loves the performing and artistry of it all, telling a story and trying to captivate the audience with movement and emotion.
Chiara's training over the years has included stays with The Washington Ballet (@thewashingtonballet), Boston Ballet School (@bostonballetschool), MYB, and JKO at ABT (@abtschool). She is currently a Trainee with City Ballet of San Diego (@cityballetofsandiego).
She recalls that when she was 11 years old, her first pair of pointe shoes were Nikolay Grishko's. She has always loved their shoes and currently dances in the Nikolay 3007's. Chiara is actually a recent pediatric cancer survivor and while recovering, she credits her ability to retrain and restrengthen en pointe to Nikolay pointe shoes. With them she felt fully supported, safe, and comfortable all at the same time.
Chiara has been a customer for several years now and we are excited to have her represent Nikolay and our store!
