Mary Coon 21 years old and originally from Syracuse New York. She began her professional ballet training at The Rock School for Dance Education (2015-2017) and is currently training at The Sarasota Cuban Ballet School under the direction of Ariel Serrano (2017-2020).
Mary has attended various summer intensives such as NYSSSA, The Chautauqua Institute, The Bolshoi Ballet Summer Intensive, BalletMet Company Rep Week, and the Sarasota Cuban Ballet School. Over the course of her professional training
Mary has had the opportunity to perform various lead rolls in productions such as The Lilac Fairy from Sleeping Beauty (2016), Rosa from Flower Festival (2018), and Myrtha from Giselle (2019). When not in a ballet studio Mary loves to dedicate her time to cross training in the gym to help build strength for ballet and help with injury prevention.
In the near future Mary would love to become certified as a personal trainer and specifically work with dancers to further their training.
