Miss Georgia Marko began her ballet training at the early age of 3 while living abroad in Singapore. Upon returning to the states at age 5, she joined the Tolbert Yilmaz School of Dance in Roswell Georgia, where she has trained since. Ms. Tracey Bayly, the school’s ballet mistress, took her under her wing. Under Ms. Bayly, Georgia rose through the ranks to the highest level of the school’s resident PreProfessional company Roswell Dance Theatre. Georgia has danced the roles of Mirliton, Clara, and Dream Queen in The Nutcracker, and this spring will dance the Spring Fairy role in Cinderella and the role of Maria in West Side Story. Georgia has competed and placed in both Youth America Grand Prix and Universal Ballet Competitions. She has spent summers training at The School of American Ballet and Houston Ballet Academy.
