Braulio hails from Merida, the capital of the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico. He started dancing at the age of eight with his first teacher and mentor, Paty Molina at DAR Studio. After being offered a scholarship to study in Cordoba, Braulio with only 2 years of training and at the very young age of 12 moved, alone, to begin a new adventure in the state of Veracruz. There he studied with a host of teachers all lead by the director of the program, ProVer (a free, professional ballet program for boys), Martha Sahagun and the renowned teacher, Adria Velázquez. Braulio has had the opportunity to attend on scholarship the summer program at Houston Ballet Academy as well as several workshops and master classes in Mexico. Braulio won first place in 2017 and again in 2019 at the Concurso Nacional de Ballet in Mexico. This is his first season with the Orlando Ballet and he is very excited to be here.
